Overwatch Season 2 ‘Summit’ Launches April 14, Introducing New Hero Sierra!

Overwatch’s Season 2: Climbing to New Heights with “Summit”

Blizzard Entertainment is about to drop the second season of Overwatch, cheekily dubbed “Summit,” tomorrow, April 14, 2026. And boy, does it come packed with a mountain of content that’s sure to keep your thumbs busy and your wallet lighter.

Sierra: The New Kid On The Block

First off, let’s talk about the new hero on the block. Meet Sierra, the 51st addition to Overwatch’s colorful roster. Categorized as a Damage hero, Sierra brings some space-controlling abilities that’ll make you want to main her ASAP. Whether you’re handling high ground or low, she’s your gal for locking down those crucial map zones.

Oh, and don’t forget to snag her first skin, Painter Sierra, in that shiny new Ultimate Battle Pass. Because if you’re going to wreck enemies, you might as well do it in style.

Spring Fairy Skins: Because Who Doesn’t Like Pastel?

This season’s Battle Pass is rolling out a Spring Fairy collection that’s more pastel than a kindergarten art class. Heroes like Illari are getting their fairy on with skins that promise to be both whimsical and slightly menacing. Joining the Spring Fairy parade are Ashe (with BOB), Echo, Lifeweaver, Moira, Symmetra, Torbjörn, Tracer, and Wuyang. You can almost hear the collective “aww” from here.

Sakura Line: Blossoms and Blades

If pastels aren’t your thing (who are you?), then perhaps the Sakura line will be more up your alley. Dropping fresh petals on Esme, Freja, Genji, Hanzo, Junker Queen, and Juno—these skins bring a touch of traditional Japanese flair to your favorite heroes. Just in time for cherry blossom season too!

Mythics & Ramattra: Diablo Crossovers Are Real

For those who like their skins with a dash of mythic energy, brace yourself for Genji’s Sumi-Ichimonji Mythic weapon skin and Soldier: 76’s Volted Overdrive Mythic skin. But the one that’s really got tongues wagging? Ramattra is finally getting some love with a skin inspired by Mephisto from Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred. Considering Ramattra’s been as overlooked as a side quest in an open-world RPG when it comes to skins, this could be his time in the spotlight.

Le Sserafim Skins Return: Limited Time Only!

If you missed out on grabbing those Le Sserafim skins last time around (you know who you are), fear not! They’re making a limited-time comeback in the shop from April 14-27. Get them while they’re hot—or forever hold your peace.

The Final Countdown

The countdown is on! As we inch closer to April 14th’s launch of Overwatch Season 2: Summit, it’s time to dust off those controllers and dive back into one of gaming’s most frenetic shooters. Whether you’re here for new heroes or just want to flex some fresh skins in front of friends (or foes), Blizzard seems determined not to disappoint.
